I got my "Zacherley" copy (along with #'s 2, 6 & eight) from the backorder section in FM over 50 years ago. I always assumed they were going to send a new copies but that wasn't the case. #2 was the closest to new they sent and the others all had a bit of spine wear and some mini tape issues.
I'm also a long time member of the CGC boards (Burntboy)...

The FM #1 UK edition was printed in Great Britain. The cover price was in British currency units and there were less pages than in the American variant. (See my copies of FM 1 and 2 UK variants below.)It's alot rarer than the U.S. variant. FM ##1 and 2 were the only issues actually printed in the U.K. Subsequent issues were printed in the U.S. and shipped over. Once there they were handstamped with the British price. - Mike
