I keep getting this message back when I try to load my collection by csv. Anyone have any ideas what I might be doing wrong.
Thanks

Hi twocranes - Nosto had to disable the loader awhile back since there was some DOS abuse at that address.
If you contact the help lines, or Tommy directly, someone will help you get your file loaded.

Hey all - I should have noted months ago, NostoLoader is back up and running.
You can now import your Collection, Wantlist, or For Sale list as one big .csv file if you prefer.

I am going INSANE trying to upload my csv file to this site.

No matter what I do, I keep getting the same damn error about invalid file type. I've tried saving it as .TXT, as .CSV, as a UTF8 CSV, as a MS-DOC CSV, etc. Going bananas here.

First 10 lines:

I've been trying different things now for over an hour. What the hell am I doing wrong? I used one of the sample rows as a guide, changed numerical grades to OSCBPG grades, and a whack of other stuff. File size is 368KB

Stumped and frustrated.

Well, I'm getting somewhere at least...

I switched the encoding from UTF8 to ANSI and it looks like it accepted the file, but now it's giving me errors about ambiguous titles and issues not found.

Arrggh!

So, after going through my list 30-40 times... Altering titles, saving, uploading, reconciling errors, saving, uploaded, rinse, repeat...

I now have dozens of entries for each book in the collections list.

How do I wipe ALL of that out and do one last sanitized CSV upload?

Hey Agamoto - sorry we didn't catch the forum post before the help line, and sorry about all the frustration! Yes - as you painfully discovered, the file must be ASCII text, no other format will work. Very sorry, NostoLoader is a very old system.
