Hi Dave,
To maximize the value of your book, if it truly is a 9.9 or 10, you would need to have the book certified by a grading agency (CGC, PGX, etc.). If you try to sell the book as a Mint copy without any type of certification, you are not likely to receive much for the book (i.e., probably $5 or less). As a bit of a warning, if you are not familiar with the grading of the professional services you may be disappointed in the grade you receive - grades of 9.9 or 10 are few and far between. On the other hand, if your book does grade as a 9.9 or a 10, you should definitely fetch more than $5.
When grading, CGC does remove the book from confinement. It would be very difficult to grade a book that is sealed within plastic.
