Any idea how far behind publication the current comic lists are and how often updates are occurring?

Yes - we tend to run about two months behind on getting new issues into the production database. For example we are just finishing up December 2008 releases now. Most users seem to be ok with this pace. If enough Premium Subscribers asked, we could accelerate the process.

An update to this thread - the Premium Subscribers asked, and as of the last Aug 1st site update the site is caught up with published data for current comics.

Tommy, Sounds like you know a bit about the data base, so I hope you can help me understand a couple things. Just found the site and was wondering what the values stand for?

Like = CGC Value / PCX Value / and Uncertified Value? We have a few comics and was wonding how to get them apprasied, but was looking on the site here and seen CGC & PCX and don't know what that stands for. Can you help?

Thanks

Hi shee290 - CGC and PGX are third-party, independent professional grading services. CGC is Certified Guaranty Company, and PGX is Professional Grading eXperts.
Both are discussed, with links on the Nosto Comic Book Grading Guide page. Just click the comics tab and you'll see it. Or Google
comic book grading guide
and the Nosto page should be at the top. Any more questions, I'm happy to asnwer them

Hey Nosto gang,

I've recently re-started (again) entering my collection and came across some that weren't on any lists that I could find. Any help is appreciated:

Wolverine Encyclopedia
Wolverine: Inner Fury
Wolverine: Killing
Wolverine: Black Rio

Hopefully by the time I'm done uploading all of my info the market will have picked up and I can start selling them off. My wife needs new restaurant equipment!
Maybe I can scan some covers, too... but no promises.

You also have a listing for "Richie Rich and Gloria" going up to issue 10, but I have an issue #14...

Hi Spendler - in a random Forum scan I just noticed this never got addressed. The title has been corrected, but the changes won't migrate to the production database until the next pricing update. In the future if something slips through the cracks ping the help lines, thanks!
