Just looked over the "100 Most Wanted Items On The Site" and realized there are no
DC's listed...is there little to no interest in DC's?

I think I have the Oldest Original Owner Collection

In the March 7th MYCOMICSHOP Weekly Newsletter Conan Saunders expressed concern
with paper and print quality of newly released MARVEL COMICS. "...MARVEL is using
the same lightweight paper stock for the covers that they use for the interiors."
"...the production quality was rough enough that all copies we received would grade
Very Fine at best..."

Doesn't sound too good.

I wonder just how long it will be before they do away with a cover entirely
and replace it with the SPLASH PAGE of the first (or only) story in the book.

On 3/16 COMIC CONNECT sold a CGC 9.2 copy of SPIRIT #22 for $16,506.00...
appears to have fallen in value.

While going through a box of raw comics from PASSAIC BOOK CENTER I ran
across MARVEL TEAM-UP #65 and #66, two books I had forgotten how good
they are. I often wondered why MARVEL used them to introduce CAPTAIN BRITAIN?
Really good reading and the cover of #66 is fantastic.

Hi the issues 53-69 of Marvel Team-Up are some of the best they did, I love to reread them every couple of years.

Thank you Tommy! Found out how to transfer images of my collection from my outdated
Mac to a flash drive and then post them on CGC and CBCS.

Glad to see some interest in GOLDEN AGE WESTERN COMICS on the CBCS FORUM.
Always felt that WESTERNS were underrated.

Happy to see some discussion about coverless comics on the CBCS FORUM.
Seems there are some scarce GOLDEN AGE books out there missing covers with
high prices being paid for single graded pages. MORE FUN #101 with the first
SUPERBOY story is my most valuable coverless book with a few REMAINDERS
that appear to be of interest to collectors.

Marty - especially pages from Uber-Keys like Action 1 and Tec 27. I wish the community would settle on an official grade so Nostomania could formally process the data. It seems that what makes the most sense is the lowest possible (at present anyway) numeric grade of 0.1. Currently CGC assigns the non-numeric grade "PG".

Results from the recent COMIC CONNECT Auction show that a MARVEL FAMILY #1
CGC Graded 1.8 sold for $2,450-, this seems to be a little low.

Happy to see some renewed interest in "Promotional" comics as I've always had a special
place in my collection for them.
