Glad to see some interest in GOLDEN AGE WESTERN COMICS on the CBCS FORUM.
Always felt that WESTERNS were underrated.

Thank you Tommy! Found out how to transfer images of my collection from my outdated
Mac to a flash drive and then post them on CGC and CBCS.

Back from a bout from Covid...had the opportunity to re-read a lot of GA comics!

While going through a box of raw comics from PASSAIC BOOK CENTER I ran
across MARVEL TEAM-UP #65 and #66, two books I had forgotten how good
they are. I often wondered why MARVEL used them to introduce CAPTAIN BRITAIN?
Really good reading and the cover of #66 is fantastic.

At least I have one book shown in the 2nd Quarter Market Report...BATMAN #399.

On 3/16 COMIC CONNECT sold a CGC 9.2 copy of SPIRIT #22 for $16,506.00...
appears to have fallen in value.

I wonder just how long it will be before they do away with a cover entirely
and replace it with the SPLASH PAGE of the first (or only) story in the book.

In the March 7th MYCOMICSHOP Weekly Newsletter Conan Saunders expressed concern
with paper and print quality of newly released MARVEL COMICS. "...MARVEL is using
the same lightweight paper stock for the covers that they use for the interiors."
"...the production quality was rough enough that all copies we received would grade
Very Fine at best..."
Doesn't sound too good.

Just looked over the "100 Most Wanted Items On The Site" and realized there are no
DC's listed...is there little to no interest in DC's?

Email from BEDROCK CITY COMIC COMPANY offered a complete view of this weeks
comic book day releases. This turned out to be a link to gocollect.
In looking at I realized that many titles had up to 7 different covers.
Does anyone collect them all ?

Tommy I have a few remainder issues that appear to be collectible like...
MYSTERY IN SPACE #1
DANGER TRAIL #1
HAUNT OF FEAR #16
TALES FROM THE CRYPT #20
...except for the missing top third of the cover they are in great shape.
When I was buying these books for 5 cents the only thing I was looking for was the story inside.

DC's STAR SPANGLED WAR STORIES begins with #131 thru #133 and begins again with #3...
making it really #4 in the series...I wonder why?
My copy of STAR SPANGLED WARS STORIES is a #3 also a remainder copy.

Going through my box of coverless books and adding them to my list.

Not quite sure what the above message means?

In the My Comic Shop auction which ended yesterday...
MARVEL FAMILY #1 CGC graded 5.5 sold for $10,600
CGC graded 1.5 sold for $ 2,650
I guess my CGC graded copy at 3.0 might bring a good return.
