Starman, working out the bugs! I am sure you will resolve the issues in due time! You need a graphic on your home page for the Store. Yes, there is initial interest in the raw grading labels, I updated my site, and will hopefully have the new products ready for mass consumption by mid July. Mario

Interesting site;

Upon flutter investigation, it looks like a double folio of just the back half of the first story. So the splash page starts with numbered pages 17-30, then pg 31-32, then back to the same pages 17-30, then it continues in order from pages 31-48 + cover. This was the first Superman giant that went from the 80 page square or perfect bound glued spine, down to a 64 page rounded saddle stitched rounded spine. So there must be other versions like this and another version that has dupe folios page numbered 1-16. I need to investigate further. Let me know out there in collector land.

Okay, so I'm grading some silver age Superman, and I come across the Giant G-78 edition of Superman 232, Jan. 1971, open the issue and bam! Starts with page 17, page 5 of the story. Staples are firm. Had to be a collating problem in the bindery part of the printing process. So, my question is it worth more than the 4.0 VG grade. Has anyone else noticed this in their collection?

So check it out...The other day after I got my hair cut in downtown Schenectady, I went next door to a sports card hobby shop. The dude there always has boxes of comics, so I rifled thru them, really nothing there, then he tells me if I'm into Star Wars. So I says yeah, he shows me issue 1 in a sleeve. I check it out. At least a 7.0, maybe an 8.0. Then I ask if I could also take a pic with my phone. Sure. I left the shop, telling him, maybe I'll get back to him sometime next week.So, that evening I did my due diligence, researched the image I captured with my reference books and online. So I going back to make him an offer starting at $25, maybe up to $50 and then flip it. The value is between $70-120. Or maybe I should slab it and the flip it? Slabbing it may increase it somewhat, depending on the grade. Your thoughts?

Attention Comic Book collectors, investors, fans...from novices to veterans....
In an effort to bring into the main stream supplies with comic book boards, sleeves, boxes, etc. The Collector's Condition is offering FREE for a limited time ONLY TO NOSTOMANIA MEMBERS - an exclusive opportunity to sign-up and receive actual working samples of our revolutionary comic book raw grading labels to try out!
Yes, your curiosity will be addressed by being able to try these "babies" out on your titles when you grade them. Or maybe, re-board and re-sleeve a few comics, to get an idea of how easy they work, and how professional your collection can be - at home, in your shop, or at a trade show. These raw grading labels are a step removed from a book being slabbed. A poor man's slabbing if you will.
So how does this FREE OFFER work? Simple, starting June 1, 2016, the first 100 NOSTOMANIA MEMBERS that signup at http://www.comicbookgradinglabels.com
There will be a special signup area on the http://www.comicbookgradinglabels.com homepage for you to submit your NOSTOMANIA MEMBER NAME, mailing address, etc. in order to authorize a Free sample kit of our raw grading labels that we will ship out to you.
Once again, I would like to thank STARMAN for his help and encouragement in this adventure.
Sticking by my grade,
Mario Bruni
Creator of the comic book raw grading labeling system.
