I inherited a collection of about 100 or so comics from my late grandmother who owned a Used Book and Comic book store. My comics range from the 1950's to about 1995. I want to keep most of them to pass down to my children as I know the value will continue to rise (and most aren't worth more than maybe $20 or so right now). But I am looking to dip into the investment and I'm just wondering if there is more value in an entire collection vs. individual comics. For instance, I have in their entirety; The Reign of the Supermen (22 comics) as well as the complete Funeral For A Friend (10 comics). I also have Batman - Legends of the Dark Knight Collector's Special 1 thru 5, and Spider-Man "Torment" 1 thru 5. I have 2 copies of the silver edition, 1 copy of the gold edition, and 3 copies of the green cover edition. Lastly, I have a copy of rare Platinum Edition of The Death Of Superman in an unopened black and silver bag that I am curious about. According to Nostomania my most valuable comics right now are the 1984 first prints of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 1, 2, 3 (x2), 4 (x3).

I haven't had any graded yet but I will be soon (all appear quite new to the naked eye). Basically what I'm hoping to find out is, instead of taking them all in (those listed above and many more), I'd like to know which would be most worth the time and expense to be graded and preserved.

Thank you so much for any help you can offer! If anyone is interested in more information about my collection, if you are looking for a specific comic, just let me know!
