How soon is soon?

Yes, last month I said we were actively working on the next most requested feature, and that it would be available soon. Apparently soon is not now. We don't want to rush anything into production that is not quite ready.

We decided we can at least let you know what is in the works, and give you our best guess as to when it will be available. The top two user requests are currently as follows:
  1. User Forums - So users can all help each other with questions, publicly display rants for this (or any other) site, or just blather about favorite coins, comics, and magazines.
  2. Per-Grading Service Pricing - This will blow people away. This is not a poor-mans imitation of real pricing like all the other sites provide. Others say they have "CGC pricing" for comics or "NGC pricing" for coins, when it's just some multiplier of the regular number. Or, if they think they are more sophisticated, the multipliers are based on an average of recent certified sales. The fact is, doing it right is a lot more difficult than that, which is why no one has done it. Until now. We just have to figure out how we want to present it - stay tuned.
So, here is our current plan:

     April: New pricing data
     May: User forums
     - available to all free Basic Account users
     - special privileges for Premium Subscribers
     June: Per-grading service pricing
     - available in My Lists for Basic Account users
     - special features for Premium Subscribers (visual comparison, historical data, etc.)

Some new stuff this month: news articles, and over 300 new coins, comics, and magazines added to the database.

Featured deal: at the time of this update, the following item is available for a mere $5.00 - 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar, VF-35. Well under Nosto value and under the silver bullion value. First person to Coins -> Browse gets it!

Prizes

Don't forget, all you have to do is create a single Collection, Wantlist, or Salelist item during the appropriate month to qualify for our sweepstakes. Why not take a look and see what we're giving away (and gave away last month), free as always.

Thanks, we'll see you all next month.
